I had dinner recently with colleagues at Circa in the Navy Yard area of Washington, D.C. I showed up initially without a reservation around 7:00 PM and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. First tip: when visiting this restaurant, get a reservation in advance. I met my colleagues unexpectedly (who did have a reservation) and we ate together at a booth. I had already been served at a single table, but the staff had no issue with moving my place setting. I appreciated their support. I had ordered the salmon salad along with a pretzel loaf, which is the restaurant’s offering for a side order of bread. The salmon was cooked to a medium temperature as per my request and the rest of the salad was excellent. The salad had mixed greens, peewee potatoes, balsamic onions, and goat cheese. All very yummy. For dessert we shared a small bourbon bread pudding which was truly rich tasty and delicious. The service was very good, and the staff were very helpful when I arrived without a reservation, so kudos to them I would give this restaurant four out of five stars. It’s someplace I’ll return to for a fresh tasty meal the next time I’m in D.C.

First visit and My family had a dinner for celebrating new year. Every dish we ordered was beyond expectations and I appreciate the reasonable portion size for each dish. We will def come back.

Delicious food. Apps were so good. Ribs delectable. Jambalaya, very good and little cheaper price point. Prices are a little higher than others nearby but worth it. Specialty drinks had good flavors. Bread pudding and cinnamon ice cream, amazing. Other dessert was okay.

Delicious food, big servings, and great service! Definitely recommend the chicken wings. The Thai shrimp salad was great too. Food came out very quickly. I would highly recommend this place for brunch/lunch!
